SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency claimed it can be alarmed about the high range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The support point made for intervention encounters a superior influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it difficult to the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more methods to enable the servicing of all shoppers and more info enhance access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
